Purin adalah protein yang termasuk dalam nukleo (inti) protein. Hasil akhir metabolisme purin adalah asam urat. MENGAPA LUMPUR PANAS MENYEMBUR?

Selama lebih dari 50 hari belakangan ini, lumpur panas di bumi Kabupaten Sidoarjo menyembur dengan masifnya. Bagi masyarakat, fenomena ini menimbulkan tanda tanya besar.
Semburan Lumpur panas atau Mud Volcano di kabupaten Sidoarjo itu muncul pertama kali pada 29 Mei 2006 sekitar pukul 05:00. Tepatnya di areal persawahan Desa Siring, Kecamatan Porong.
